There are many who believe that if they pay no attention to what is going on behind the curtain that separates the real world from the spiritual world it will negate it.  That logic couldn’t be further from the Truth.  Just like the 1939 MGM movie The Wizard of Oz sometimes we need a Toto to pull back the curtain to reveal the source behind the smoke and mirrors that have fooled us. 

In 1742 the poet Thomas Gray wrote "where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise”. Ignorance may have been bliss in 1742 but in 2011 ignorance of the Signs of The Times is a potentially fatal mistake.

If you are a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and pay attention to Biblical Eschatology you know that something worth noting is going on in the world.  For the first time in history the first half of both Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are in effect.  Every day the headlines and news reports blast the Signs of The Times – wars, earthquakes in diverse places, famine, pestilences, weird goings on in the skies and in the heavens and a rise in bizarre, violent crimes.

We know from scripture that as we get closer to the end the deception will become so great that even the elect would be deceived if the time were not cut short.  That pervasive deception regarding the occult, the paranormal, UFOs and the like is coming at our youth and young adults from every media angle.  The lies of the serpent drips from our TV and Movie screens and is found as well as in video games and even schoolbooks.  How many of us who were in school in the late 1960s and early 1970s were given the book Chariot of The Gods as required reading?  Here we are in 2011 and that deception is not only promulgated it is being presented as truth.  Currently there are 15 TV shows dealing with the paranormal (ghosts, spirits, demons, etc.) and leading people away from the spiritual Truth of The Bible and the most supernatural man of all time, Jesus of Nazareth.  Night after night, week after week our youth and young adults follow stories about vampires, zombies and aliens without them, or their parents, knowing how to counter the lie and how to relieve them of the ensuing bondage it brings.

Luke 21:8-9(NKJV) 8And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.  9But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

The word “deceived” in verse 8 means to roam (from safety, truth, or virtue):—go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way.  The truth that we are warned not to wander away from comes from the world but comes from God and is found in The Bible.  To endure until the end without fear and in victory we must embrace the knowledge and insight given to us in The Word. 

 Hosea 4:6(NKJV) 6    My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

  Proverbs 24:5-6(NKJV) 5    A wise man is strong,      Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;
6    For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,     And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

On March 25, 26 and, possibly, 27th of 2011 three men who know the Truth and have knowledge of the supernatural & spiritual realm will gather in Groton, Connecticut to share that wisdom with others.  Their knowledge comes from personal experiences while captive in the bonds of the deception of the occult and the New Age before their walk with the Lord.  And, they will impart their experiential knowledge of the supernatural, spiritual warfare, prophecy and the End Times over the last 30-years.  Between L.A. On Saturday morning March 26th at the BEST Western Olympic Inn on Route 360 in Groton, Connecticut (less than 2 miles from Seaport Community Church) Russ Dizdar and L.A. Marzulli will share their knowledge in a morning session from 10 am to 2 pm with things picking back up at 6 pm to finish things out.  There is a possibility of a Sunday service where all three speakers will tag-team together for an all out attack on the powers of darkness with an inspirational closing message.  This component is as yet unconfirmed.

L.A.
